Inspired by Maya Angelou’s call to give back, Designed 2 Succeed presents the Global Rise International Mentorship Program—
a virtual initiative for professionals in counseling, social work, advocacy, and outreach. Through interactive workshops, live mentorship, and practical training, participants gain tools to lead, inspire, and create change across cultures. The program fosters resilience, cross-cultural understanding, and transformative leadership. Open to international students, immigrants, and professionals worldwide, Global Rise is a collaborative space to grow as leaders and changemakers—making a lasting impact locally and globally. Designed 2 Succeed’s Global Rise International Mentorship Program
In 2015, while Dr. Camille, the founder and executive director of Designed 2 Succeed, visited Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she spoke with a group of women who had experienced domestic and sexual abuse, as well as some who had lost loved ones due to a hurricane.
During this visit, Mr. Bélizaire served as Dr. Camille’s translator.
In 2024, Dr. Camille also led several virtual women’s empowerment sessions, where Mr. Bélizaire once again provided translation support.
Mr. Bélizaire is a pastor and the founder of schools in the mountains of Haiti, created for children who are often afraid to attend school in certain areas due to violence. He is deeply passionate about equipping educators with the tools and resources they need to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. His education and experience bring a wealth of insight as he serves on the advisory board of the Global Rise International Mentorship Program.
