"Helping others walk in their purpose is how
I live out mine."
I’m Dr. Camille Ellimac-Raheem—affectionately known as
Dr. Camille—founder and executive director of
Designed 2 Succeed Cooperation, a nonprofit devoted
to helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
As a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Crisis Specialist, Certified Domestic & Sexual Violence Professional, and Certified Family Court Professional, I bring both expertise and compassion to every life I touch. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University, an M.A. in Counseling from Seton Hall University, and a Ph.D. in Psychological Studies with a concentration in Human Services Counseling from Regent University.

In 2007, while living in Georgia, I launched Designed 2 Succeed as a personal development and consulting business. I offered inspirational speaking engagements, workshops, one-on-one life and career coaching, and small business consulting. Although I dissolved the business before relocating to
Illinois in 2011, the mission never left my heart.
Then, on my birthday—August 8, 2024—I survived a traumatic three-car collision. That moment became a divine reminder of my purpose and the importance of walking fully in my calling. I made a promise to honor that second chance at life.
On August 8, 2025—exactly one year later and on my birthday—I officially relaunched Designed 2 Succeed as a nonprofit organization in Illinois. It became more than a vision; it became a living testimony of survival, faith, and renewed purpose.
While I’m grateful of my academic and professional accomplishments, what drives me most is the joy of encouraging others—especially those who feel unseen or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. My life’s work is guided by a deep belief that everyone deserves the
opportunity to heal, grow, and succeed.
My personal and professional experiences deeply shape the mission and programs of Designed 2 Succeed. As an adult survivor of child sexual abuse, a clinical therapist supporting diverse men and women from various backgrounds through life transitions, a former military wife, and the sister of four military veterans, I understand resilience on many levels. My background also includes working as a substance abuse counselor for gang-involved youth and serving as an educator—teaching counseling skills to international students and speaking to groups of women outside the U.S. who have survived abuse. These diverse experiences allow me to lead with empathy, authenticity, and clinical insight.
I am grateful to serve as the Founder and
Executive Director of Designed 2 Succeed Corporation.
